AskElixir.ai connects to third-party AI models (including providers such as OpenAI, xAI, DeepSeek, and Meta) exclusively through API-level integrations.

All model requests are routed via OpenRouter, a secure AI routing platform that allows us to:

• Maintain centralized control over model access

• Enforce consistent request handling across providers

• Avoid direct end-user connections to model vendors

• Prevent unnecessary data exposure

This architecture ensures that AI model providers do not have direct access to AskElixir.ai users or accounts.

No Direct Model Provider Accounts Required

Users do not need individual accounts or API keys with third-party AI model providers.

All interactions with external models are handled securely by AskElixir.ai at the platform level.

This simplifies access while maintaining centralized governance and security controls.
